Health Improvement Practitioner

Health Improvement Practitioners (HIPs) support patients who are experiencing stress and other challenges which are negatively impacting upon their health and wellbeing. HIPs support patients to explore possible changes that they could make to their lifestyle behaviours that would support them in working towards better health and wellness. HIP consults are free of charge and do not need a GP/nurse referral as patients can book in themselves to see a HIP. Our consults are for 30 minutes and are accessible to any patient registered within the GP practice.
