Awanui Labs has been issued with strike notices from the APEX union of intended action by its members for Friday 17 November, 2023.
There will be a reduction of services on 17 November 2023.
The Hutt, Wairarapa and Kenepuru hospital laboratory operations are unaffected by the strike.
- Patients should expect delays at Awanui collection centres which are open on Friday 17 November
- Where possible, patients should have tests done either prior to or after the strike
