Face masks are a way we can protect ourselves and others. You must wear one when visiting healthcare services. If you cannot wear a face mask you can get a Mask Exemption Pass.
Despite the end of the traffic light system, there are certain places where masks are required to be worn. People visiting the following healthcare settings must wear a mask during the time you are at that location:
primary care – this includes any appointments you have with community healthcare providers, such as a general practitioner (GP), practice nurse, nurse practitioner, other health professionals working within a GP setting, and Iwi and Pacific healthcare providers
urgent care – this includes after hours clinics and accident and emergency
