Wellington SCL has received strike notices from the APEX union for the following dates: Thursday 24th August, Friday 25th August, Monday 28th August, and Tuesday 29th August.
Please note that the Hutt, Wairarapa, and Kenepuru hospital laboratory operations remain unaffected by this strike.
Patients should visit www.wellingtonscl.co.nz for updates on collection centre closures and expect delays at open WSCL collection centres. We recommend scheduling tests before or after the strike dates where possible.
We apologise for any inconvenience and are working diligently to minimize the impact of this industrial action.
