Parking on Rintoul Street
Parking on Rintoul Street will change from Sunday 20 October. Please allow extra time to find a park prior to your appointment.
On Sunday 20 October, contractors will paint yellow 'no parking' lines for the new uphill bike lane on the eastern side of Rintoul Street, from Riddiford Street up to Wakefield Hospital, and install rubber separators and marker poles.
This section will include slightly relocating the bus stop near 63 Rintoul Street (stop 6120) so it's more accessible.
The bike lane and yellow 'no parking' lines will then be installed on the western side of Rintoul Street, from the pedestrian crossing near SWIS up to Arvida Village on the Park. The northbound bus stop near Arvida Village (stop 7121) will also be moved slightly so it's closer to the village entrance.
Cones will go out at least 24 hours in advance so please make sure you move vehicles from areas that have been coned off. Stop/go traffic management and a lane closure will be in place while the work happens.
